G4L @ NYU/CUNY Research Update

The G4L team at NYU/CUNY has begun our fall research in middle schools all around the city. Last week we started up again with IS49 in Staten Island, and next week we add two Queens schools to our rotation: One World Neighborhood School in Astoria and York Early Collegiate Academy in Jamaica. We have several schools with whom we are in the beginning stages of planning our game sessions, so there will be more to come on this front. We have brought together a team of 13 Research Assistants, 2 Post Docs, and 3 Volunteers to cover our data collection and game play across the five boroughs. This friday we are slated to bring our first G4L-developed educational game to schools to test it out.
Things are moving along swimmingly.
