Initially I thought that I could choose the outcome of the game, but in the final mission, when I tried to kill Jaffar, I could not. If I chose “Kill his bird” and then “Fight Jaffar”, I lost. Instead of fighting Jaffar, if I let Abu die, I won. Is that a bug or by design that you win by letting Jaffar live?

It was a little tough to figure out what the solution should be. It seems everyone in the class with this sort of branching narrative either has choices that are too obvious or the choices are arbitrary. Maybe this says something about narrative choices…
Anyway, the story was good, it progressed along an entire plot, but it was very fast paced. Also, it would be nice if failing a mission didn’t restart you from scratch.

i had the same problem as others where the answers seemed almost random. what i ended up doing was trying all possible combinations for the first two missions (without using wishes) and memorizing what worked to get me to the last three missions with my three wishes in tact. i didn’t bother to read the rest of the questions, and thus lost out on the narrative.

I had similar problems knowing the right answer, but I suspect being more familiar with the Disney film would help here. I wouldn’t have minded though if each time I died I could restart the current mission instead of starting the whole game over again. Before losing for the 5th time, I was having a good time.
