This is a good looking game. I like the background and the parallax scrolling. The jumping is good, although it takes a little getting used to (at the height of the jump you seem to hang for too long).
The levels are nice and long. I want to grab the jewel on the second level though! I don’t think you can.
I like the way the story progresses as you go through the levels. I’d like more story, but I’m guessing you just didn’t have time. One opportunity I think you have is to play with expectations – since it’s a dream world and the player is encouraged to wonder why he’s there and how to get out. The closed box with the jewel inside – maybe if you crouch on top of it, you can pass through the platform, and from then on, you can pass through solid walls when you push against them. Just an idea for how to make this more than just a platformer.
