G4LI to Host Annual NCWIT Summit, May 23-25, 2011

The Games for Learning Institute will be the host of this year’s (NCWIT) National Center for Women & Information Technology Conference, May 23-25, to be held at NYU.

Speakers will include G4LI’s Mary Flanagan, Sherman Fairchild Distinguished Professor in Digital Humanities at Dartmouth College, in the workshop entitled “Gaming as a Gateway to Computing for Girls and Women”. Participants in this talk will also include two of G4LI’s Advisory Board Members, Tobi Saulnier (Founder & CEO of 1st Playable Producations) as a panelist and Mitch Resnick (Head of Lifelong Kindergarten at MIT Media Lab) as moderator.
